Solana Beach Chamber Board
Elected by its membership, the Chamber Executive Board and Board of Directors establish Chamber policies and set the goals and objectives of the organization. All of the Board of Directors are members of the business community. Board members represent many facets of the Solana Beach business community and dedicate considerable time and effort into planning and executing Chamber programs and events. The Chamber holds several events that bring the community of Solana Beach together, such as the annual Fiesta Del Sol held every year in June. Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month.

Ms. Cohen is known for her unflagging work ethic, her insistence upon excellence and a perpetually positive attitude which enables her to tackle the most difficult challenges with confidence.

Jason Smith owns the local State Farm office on South Cedros in Solana Beach. He started with State Farm in 2008 and is proud to help approximately 1,000 clients protect against everyday risks and plan strategically for the future. He focuses his efforts on small businesses and has a team with approximately 50 years experience that services the day-to-day needs. Jason's office leads the San Diego Coastal Region in Commercial Policies. He is a proud husband of eight years to wife Jen and father of three sweet girls Mia, Maddie and Izzy.

Leslie is the owner of a local CPA firm. Her practice focuses on tax issues for individuals and businesses; and she provides support services for small businesses. She also teaches accounting and tax courses at MiraCosta College. Prior to starting her own practice, Leslie spent over 20 years in high tech industries, including aerospace, electronics, and biotech. Leslie earned her bachelor's degree in Microbiology from San Diego State, and her MBA from University of Southern California. She has been a Solana Beach resident since 1997.

Anthony Chadwell, HHP, moved to North county San Diego in December of 2009. He opened Chadwell Center for Health and is dedicated to taking the pain out of people's lives. He uses a blend of manual treatment styles as well as a broad range of nutritional products to support positive change. In an effort to learn about and participate in his new community he has joined the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce. He has also participated in other community organizations.

Kimberly Duggan is the Community Director of Solana Highlands apartment homes, owned/operated by H.G. Fenton Company. H.G. Fenton added Ms. Duggan to their team in 2005. Kimberly and her staff offer a variety of options based on the customer's unique needs. Kimberly received honors from the San Diego County Apartment Association in the category of Rental Owner/Operator of the Year from 100-300 units. Kimberly enjoys meeting and collaborating with local businesses in Solana Beach to create a more cohesive community and to learn more about resident interests and needs.

Jewel is a seasoned event planning and events management professional with extensive HR, financial management, space planning and facilities management experience. A San Diego native, Jewel moved to Solana Beach in 1997; she has also lived and worked in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Tokyo (Japan), Santiago (Chile), and New York City. Raised with a strong sense of public service, Jewel believes in donating time, talent and resources to help support her community as well as national and global charitable organizations.

Bryan started the Java Depot at the Boardwalk on Highway 101 in 1991. He had a vision to bring a combination of community, culture and coffee to Solana Beach. Java Depot offers a wonderful array of breakfast and lunch items. Bryan has held every position at the Chamber and was President from 1999-2000. Bryan also serves on the Highway 101 Board.

San Diego County Credit Union is a full service financial institution serving San Diego County communities for over 70 years. Marcia has been employed with San Diego County Credit Union for over 20 years. Marcia and her team in the Solana Beach Branch have been providing financial services to the Solana Beach, Cardiff, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe communities since 2004. Marcia is President of the Ambassadors for the Solana Beach Chamber.
