Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Having a grand opening or ribbon cutting? Let the Chamber assist you with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and gain exposure for your business!
Ribbon Cuttings are held on Thursdays, 4:30pm to 6:00pm - ribbon cutting 5:30pm - and must be scheduled three weeks in advance. (Included in Membership cost.)
Monthly Networking Sundowner
Once a month, traditionally the first Wednesday of the month, a Chamber member hosts an early evening gathering at their place of business. This is a popular function and is the perfect time to network with other professionals and to showcase your business, products and services. Sundowners are attended by Chamber Members, local business people and government officials. Giveaways, raffles and food and beverages are some of the highlights of Sundowner events. Promote your business - call the Chamber office to host your "Sundowner." Sundowners are held on Wednesdays, from 5 to 7pm. They must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. (Included in Membership cost.)
Monthly Networking Power Lunch
Once a month, traditionally the second Wednesday of the month, the Solana Beach Chamber hosts a "Power Lunch" networking gathering at a local business. This is a popular function and a great opportunity to network with other professionals and to showcase your business, products and services. Attendees have a chance to speak to the group about the benefits of their business to gain trust and quality referrals. Long time attendees are given a chance to showcase their business with a five to ten minute presentation on a rotation of long time attendees (three or more visits). Power Lunches are attended by Chamber Business Members with businesses in Solana Beach and the surrounding communities.
Member of the Month Showcase
Once a month a Chamber Member will be chosen as the Solana Beach Chamber Member of the Month. Their business will be showcased in: Sun Newspaper, Weekly Email Blast, Chamber Website.

The Solana Beach Chamber website is a great way to reach Chamber Members, local business owners and residents and people interested in relocating to Solana Beach. Attract new clients and boost your online visibility by showcasing your business ad on the Solana Beach Chamber website. Clicking on your ad takes the website browser directly to your website. Cost per ad: $100. The publishing cycle is once a month for twelve months and subject to change. Ad content, placement, cost, etc., subject to Solana Beach Chamber approval.

The Solana Beach Chamber sends out an mail blast to its Members every Tuesday. The Solana Beach Chamber office and Visitor Information Center have advertising displays to showcase Member brochures, booklets and business cards. This is an excellent way to present your business organization to residents and visitors as well as Solana Beach newcomers. (Included in Membership cost.)
Member to Member Discount Exchange
The Solana Beach Chamber "Member to Member Discount Exchange" was initiated to encourage Chamber Members to engage in business with other Chamber Members by offering discounts, specials and coupons.
The Chamber suggests keeping offers simple and making them available for a minimum of
one year. The discounts will be available for download from the Solana Beach Chamber website.
We look forward to your participation. Cost per insertion: $20. Ad content, placement, cost, etc., subject to Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce approval.
Celebrate San Diego County at Del Mar Fairgrounds
What: An exhibit celebrating San Diego County and featuring the individual communities, businesses and people that make San Diego great. Each community will be featured on one day at the Fair in June. You can sell merchandise from your booth to promote your business. Where: The San Diego Pavilion in the infield of the Del Mar Fairgrounds racetrack. Time: 10am to 5pm. Cost: Free to all participants. The Fair will provide: tickets, booth, tables, chairs, electrical and shade. Activities within the Pavilion: wine tasting with the opportunity to talk with the vintners, cooking demonstrations featuring chefs from San Diego County restaurants, daily entertainment showcasing local talent and more!

Fiesta del Sol
An annual seaside classic, the first weekend in June, the Fiesta del Sol draws over 50,000 festival-goers looking to shop, play, eat and listen to live music. The Fiesta del Sol is a community celebration that exemplifies the arrival of Solana Beach as a booming cultural and commercial center, while preserving the highest quality of life in Southern California. We would love to have you on board for this bigger-than-life community event sponsored by the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce. Fiesta del Sol Highlights: Stellar Live Music, Arts & Crafts, Sponsor Booths, Merchant Booths, Children's Activities, International Food Court, Beer & Wine Garden, Sponsor VIP Section, Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, Community Performers.
San Diego Business Showcase
The San Diego Business Showcase brings fifteen Chambers of Commerce and Business Organizations together, as well as 200 plus exhibitors and thousands of attendees. This event takes place in April at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The targeted attendees are business professionals from the San Diego area looking to network and meet other business professionals. Business profile for the event: telecommunications, photography, business development coaches, food industry, financial, IT, promotional, marketing, sales, copy writing and more! Solana Beach Chamber Board of Directors Installation Dinner
The Solana Beach Chamber hosts their annual Installation Dinner in the spring at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. A cocktail hour and silent auction start off the evening, followed by dinner and the opening ceremony. Live music is provided throughout the event. The accomplishments of the Solana Beach business community and its residents are acknowledged with awards being given out for Business of the Year, Civic Member of the Year and Ambassador of the Year. The event highlights the installation of the Chamber's new Board of Directors and Officers for the current year.
Individual tickets ($50 per person, $90 per couple) and table for eight ($375) are available.

Solana Beach Chamber Map
An Excellent Resource. The Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce Map is an excellent community map for residents and visitors. This full color publication features an easy to read map with information on beaches, parks, recreation, shopping, dining, lodging and entertainment.
Shop Solana Beach First. The Chamber Map is a great tool for visitors to become familiar with the area and guide them throughout our shopping districts, restaurants, galleries, beaches and parks. It is also a great tool for residents as well and helps to promote the "Shop Solana Beach First" movement. The Chamber Office and Visitor Information Center are often the first stop for visitors, relocators or residents seeking Solana Beach information.
Distribution. The maps are distributed through the Chamber office, the Visitor Information Center, requests via our website, at all Chamber community events, placed in relocation packages and more!

Chamber Office
The Executive Director of the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce is available to promote your business to Chamber members, residents, visitors and relocators. Stop by to have your business brochure and card displayed in our wall display. The office is open five days a week, Monday through Friday.
Visitor Information Center
Our visitor center representative is well-informed about Chamber members, the City of Solana Beach and surrounding areas. Complimentary maps and vistor guides can be found here. Visit the center and drop off your brochure for placement in the rack card display. Hours are seasonal. Please go to the Contact Us page for days and times.
