Fletcher Cove Community Center
Situated on a one-acre parcel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Fletcher Cove Park, the Center is a perfect gathering spot for community meetings, classes and civic events.
The Center is home to the Community Sing-A-Long started by local psychiatrist Ed Siegel in 1987. The Solana Beach Civic and Historical Society and the Del Sol Lions donated an electronic piano/keyboard for use by the 20 to 30 singers that gather together at the Center on a weekly basis.
Completely renovated in 2011, it was a WWII army barracks that was moved to its present bluff-top location in the 1940s. The Civic & Historical Society bought and moved the old barracks to the blufftop as a gift to the community.
