The COASTER

More than twenty COASTER trains travel between North County and San Diego every weekday with additional trains on weekends. The COASTER is an excellent method of transportation. You save on gas and eliminate the stress of freeway driving. Sit back and relax. Enjoy the views - coastal lagoons, inland canyons, the Pacific Ocean.

The COASTER operates Sunday through Saturday with special times for Padres home game days.

Tickets
Tickets and monthly passes are available by mail, phone order and at COASTER station ticket vending machines. No tickets are sold on the train. Plan to arrive at your station at least twenty minutes before your train departs to find parking and purchase your tickets. COASTER trains stop for about thirty seconds at each station to drop off and pick up passengers.

Bicycles
There are bike areas on the COASTER.

Accessibility
All trains, stations and platforms are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
