Beaches
Beaches are open
from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fletcher Cove Park, located at Pacific Avenue
and W Plaza Street
. A wonderful little cobblestone beach with a park that overlooks the
ocean. The picturesque cove has lifeguard service but not much sand and
can be inaccessible at high tide. Off the beach, there is volleyball,
shuffleboard, basketball, showers, picnic tables, and free public
parking. Fletcher Cove includes a free public parking lot, restrooms,
and a basketball court.
Tide Beach Park, It can be reached via stairs at Pacific Avenue and Solana Vista Drive.
Tide beach is a good place to explore tide pools and is known for its
snorkeling. It has lifeguards and free parking is available on the
streets.
Seascape Shores, is
just south of Fletcher Cove, which also offers beach access. It is
located a few blocks south of Fletcher's between condominiums at the
500 and 700 blocks of South
Sierra Avenue.
