Fletcher Cove Community Center

The Fletcher Cove Community Center is one of the community’s oldest buildings. Formerly, it was a WWII army barracks that was moved to its present bluff-top location in the 1940s. The Civic & Historical Society bought and moved the old barracks to the blufftop as a gift to the community. Situated on a one-acre parcel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Fletcher Cove Park, the Center is a perfect gathering spot for community meetings, classes and civic events. Use of the facility has been limited in recent years by the aging of the building. The Center is slated for improvements to make it more accessible and user-friendly.
